Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh

Jennifer "Jennicide" LeighJennifer was born August 10, 1983 in Wilmington, Delaware. At the age of 12, Jennifer created her nickname "Jennicide" since it had a mysteriously close resemblance to her name and plus it was cool. Jennicide is a well known name on the internet and has since made a name for her in the live cash and tournament circuit. Jennifer learned the game of poker playing low limit "sit and go" tournaments and is now recognized for playing some of the highest limits in the game today.

Jennifer's live poker accomplishments started when she was invited in July of 2005 by GSN to play in their series of televised tournaments, the "Poker Royale, Battle of the Ages". The series featured seasoned pros over the age of 60 playing against professionals under the age of 30. She played in 4 televised tournaments which culminated in her winning 3 of the 6 tournaments by beating Dan Harrington and Miami John Cernuto along the way.

In January of 2006, Jennifer cashed in the WPT Caribbean Poker Adventure tournament. She also had the recognition of being the last female in the tournament out of a field of 724 entrants. Then, in April of 2006, Jennifer was asked to participate in the taping of a documentary about women in poker entitled "Poker Divas". Jennifer participated in numerous preliminary tournaments during the 2006 World Series of Poker, where she cashed in Event #34 and finished in 18th place. Directly after the series, she played in the 2006 World Poker Tour Legends Tournament where she finished again in the money. Jennifer has accumulated over $300,000 in lifetime tournament earnings.

While away from the tables, Jennifer has written several published strategy based poker articles and has participated in photo shoots for several entertainment, men's and poker publications to include Bluff Magazine, Card Player, Inside Edge, Top Pair, Skinnie Magazine, FHM Online and Playboy. Jennifer also has experience in poker television programming as she has appeared in several poker based broadcast shows such as UPN's "Poker Parlor" and "Sam's Game", an invitation-only televised tournament.

We are excited about the addition of Jennifer "Jennicide" Leigh to Team DeepStacks. Her ability to play, teach and represent the game so well makes her an invaluable member to the world's greatest instructors.
